Prep Best Used For: Mild conditioner and softener in which most will come back out of the tire. Used on dirt or pavement. Gets heat in the tire quickly. Works great with other preps as a carrier. Drops tires only a few points. HL is one of the most versatile conditioners available in the market place. HL keeps your tires from going away at the end of the race. HL is a tire conditioner designed to be used on the inside or on the outside of all types of tires. HL works great when mixed with Old Yeller when more grip is needed.

Directions During The Week From the Outside apply 2-3 coats per day with a brush or a roller, Monday through Wednesday. Make sure you are coating the tire evenly across the contact patch. You can also soften the sidewall and get additional grip by applying HL to the side wall of the tire. If more penetration or faster penetration is needed, use your tire warmers or hot box and apply when the tires are warm. Setting tires in the sun for a while also works well.

From The Inside: Kart Tires-put 4 OZ inside right side tires & 3 OZ in left side tires. Roll the tires for 15 hours. Car Tires, roll 18-22 OZ inside the tire and roll the tire for 15 hours.

At The Track: Apply 1 or 2 coats before you go out, or use your favorite prep to get initial grip.

CAUTION: COMBUSTIBLE LIQUID & VAPOR. Contains Petroleum Distillates. Wear gloves when applying Top 5. Do not touch with bare hands. And, with all preps, do not inhale fumes or ingest it in any way. Use with adequate ventilation. Do not allow tire preps to touch body parts in any way. You will need to seek immediate medical attention if swallowed. Remove clothes if contaminated. In case of fire use water fog or dry chemical. In case of spill, use sand or soap and water.
