Prep Best Used For: Serious Softener in which all of it stays in the tire. Used on dirt and pavement. Gets heat fast and provides lots of grip. Works great with all others as a carrier. Drops tires many points with repeated usage. Combine with any other prep. Our Ole Yeller is not shaken down with filler chemicals as with other “goat pee” preps. This is the real stuff. Ole Yeller will give you tons of bite. You can bake it in or apply on top, depending on the grip you need to achieve. Ole Yeller will not come out of the tire. Ole Yeller is designed for tracks that have very little grip at all. Ole Yeller also works very well when mixed with other tires preps such as Black and more. Ole Yeller can give you the grip you need when mixed with other chemicals. Ole Yeller gives you instant bite making the vehicle faster at the start of the race! Ole Yeller will drop the durometer reading of your tire by up to 10 points. Ole Yeller works best alone on wet tracks that are lacking grip. On faster tracks that are wet, mix Ole Yeller with HL or Condition X to avoid getting too much grip. Just be careful not to “lock down” your tires by over-prepping.
Directions At The Track: Apply Ole Yeller any time before you go out to run. One or two coats will drop the tires around 3-4 points and give you good grip for the first part of the race. If you need a lot of grip, apply up to 5 coats before you go out. 5 coats will drop the durometer reading up to 8 points. If mixing with Black in an attempt to get grip and adhesion, mix 12 OZ of Ole Yeller to 1 OZ of Black.
During The Week: Ole Yeller can be used during the week as a base coat with a tire conditioner or by itself in situations when you need a lot of grip. Apply one coat Monday and one coat Tuesday when mixing it with a conditioner program. If you are looking for grip and you are not using a conditioner program, apply one coat daily, Monday through Wednesday. Ole Yeller works great with Condition X & HL tire conditioners. Ole Yeller will mix with other tire preps and also works good as a mild softener when mixed 50/50 with Qualifying Solution, HL or Condition X to minimize penetration.
