Track Conditions
Dry Slick Big Red Big Red/Splash Creo
Damp HL, Cond. X/Creo Light Wintergreen/Ole Yeller
Notes: In low grip situations, you may need to use more conditioner during the week in order to get optimum grip. Ole Yeller can be used straight but watch your quantity as it can lock you down even on a low grip track. Mix Ole Yeller with HL or Top 5 to reduce it some in getting the grip you need. Once you get the vehicle going pretty good, back off of the Ole Yeller and start with Top 5 mix. Top 5 and HL mix is real good for keeping it going for the end of the night. You can mix a splash of Ole Yeller in it to keep the softening going during the night. For slick conditions, use Big Red as a top coat. Multiple applications may be neccesary. Use Creo with Big Red in keeping the dust off of the tires in slick conditions. This may not always be necessary though. Acrosol can be used to get the tire a little "tougher" on the top in the event you need the tire to get a little less grip.

Track Conditions
Dry Slick Big Red-light Big Red/Splash Creo
Damp HL, Cond. X Splash OleYeller/Top 5/Conditioner mix
Notes: In medium grip situations, you may need to use more or maybe a little less conditioner during the week in order to get optimum grip. Ole Yeller can be used straight but really watch your quantity as it can lock you down, only use it as a light wipe in really wet conditions. Make sure a medium grip track does not turn into a high grip track and have you locked down. If it does, put another set of tires on that has les conditioner in it and no or little Top Coat Once you get the kart going pretty good, back off of the Ole Yeller and start with Top 5 mix. Conditoners HL and/otr Condtion X may be all you need in Top Coats for the remainer of the night. Pay attention to how fast others are going in other classes. If they are picking up lap time, only apply light conditioners. You can mix a splash of Ole Yeller in it to keep the softening going during the night. For slick conditions, use Big Red as a top coat. Multiple applications may be neccesary. Use Creo with Big Red in keeping the dust off of the tires in slick conditions. Be very light with your dry track Top Coats on a medium track.

*After rolling tires or wiping tires without a roller, leave tires sit outside for at least two days during the week sitting in the sun. Also try rolling either during the week treatment (Condition X and HL) and using the tires the following week. For real hard tracks, roll tires without prep in the sun to season tires. Results may vary depending on whether your tires are new or scuffed. Scuffed tires with a similar program already before this race may need less conditioners during the week or less Top Coats at the track. Sometimes new tires will have more grip than scuffed tires even at the same durometer readings. Some tracks will like tires that have a few heat cycles in them. Keep this is mind if you get locked down or the vehicle will not exit the corner freely. Acrosol can be used to get the tire a little "tougher" on the top in the event you need the tire to get a little less grip.
